Oh my gosh.....what a difference. The contractions started getting so close together and much more intense...very, very quickly. The Pitosin was making the contractions move along at a quicker rate than a regular, naturally (not induced) progressing labor. But I'm just glad I asked for the epidural when I did!! They freaking HURT! So, now I'm numb to my ankles....the doc said this should recede a little so that my legs really aren't affected. It feels really weird when I touch my skin- it feels like I'm touching an elephants skin....weird, I know. But that's what it feels like! So, anyway, I'm feeling much better. Patrick is laying down trying to get a little sleep, and I'm about to do the same. So, it may be a little while before we post again. We're expecting the doc to come in around 3am to check things again. If there's any new news....we'll post. But, I imagine most sane people are sleeping by now. :) So, I'm going to try to be sane....
