So, Carmen said she wanted the story on "pain and contractions and all that good stuff." So, we're moving pretty slowly, so everything has been progressing very gradually. So, no horrible pains yet. Although, my contractions are getting stronger and more uncomfortable. My doc says we're waiting for them to get more painful....she says I shouldn't want to look at Patrick and smile. :) So, since I'm still smiling and can still get up and move around pretty comfortably...we're still just hanging in there. Even my nurse said "just to let you know, they're going to get worse." Lots of positive thoughts floating around here. ;) But, that's alright. She said, "We want pain! That's a good sign." So, anyway, the contractions have progressed to very crampy cramps....super cramps, if you will! :) So, they're definitely stronger, and I have to take a few deep breaths....but other than that....I'm pretty good. They've been giving me some medicine every 3 hours since 1pm to try to dilate me a little more...then, when I'm "favorable." they'll switch me to Pitocin. Apparently, things are more likely to move right along after that...but, you know, there's no guarantee! So, that's that.....ta ta for now! :)

Good luck with all that fabulous pain that will come. I know you can handle it! Think about Ben & Jerry's on a breezy day at the beach.
Btw, I'm watching a movie right now, but can't focus cuz I want to keep checking back here!
