Happy Labor Day!

Quick update- so, we tried to do a little tummy time, but she was pretty irritated....squeezing her butt so hard that she was doing a Superman thing....all arms and legs off the ground! Maybe it's a little early for tummy time?! :) I've got my doc appointment tomorrow to make sure things are looking alright, so I'll keep you updated.

We had a great weekend...very fun! Here are Mindy and Kristin cuddling with Ava! Ava was such a trooper this weekend and didn't mind getting passed around to everyone at all! She loves visitors! Here she is with Mindy and Kristin having a blast! And with Aunt Sarah...gettin' some love! Sweet, huh?!
For some reason, Ava always looks perturbed when her parents snuggle her! :) Doesn't stop us, though!
She has such a distinctive stare! She's definitely our very serious first born! :)
Here are some more pictures from Ava's first Labor Day!

You guys are funny! Love the pics.
Reminds me of all the pictures of us dancing at our drunken house parties. The obvious difference is the Baby!!
Are you getting her ready for the clubs? She is a cute accessory. Just kidding! So adorable :)

Adorable! Love all those cute PJs! Why don't they make those for adults? Or better, why isn't it acceptable for adults to wear frog head footsies? :-)

So I get to teach a mommy and me class now for babies 0 to 3 mo. We have a tummy time around a big mirror for moms and babies to look into. You can play peek-a-boo, tap fingers, roll balls on it, and lots more fun stuff :)
For babies who aren't quite ready for tummy time, you can put them on a beach ball that's a little deflated. You can also use bolsters like a rolled up towel.
Good luck!

How cool! Actually I teach my first class by myself tomorrow. They're Gymboree classes. I'll even teach infant massage. It's cute when the babies are actually enjoying it.
Kinda funny that we're chatting on Meaghan's comments section.
