Busy Week!

Well, we've had quite a busy week! Sorry it's been a while since I've posted! I meant to post many times...but my first week back didn't allow for much extra time! Just a quick update: Ava turned one month old on Wednesday, September 12th! Can you believe it?! It's going so fast, and she is growing like CRAZY!!! We weighed her on Friday, and she tipped the scales at 8 lbs and 1/2 ounce! She's becoming quite the porky baby! :) ...and we are just so glad!

Bobbi was with us this week....and WOW, WOW, WOW...what a huge help she was!! I couldn't have imagined having a smoother transition going back to work. She took care of everything from dinner, to cleaning, to laundry, to Ava....to everything! She even got up and fed Ava if she needed to eat in the middle of the night so I could get a little more rest for school/work. That way...it wouldn't hit me all at once...going back to school and feeding her once or twice a night! How nice! Thank you, Bobbi! You are welcome anytime! We LOVE having you...and so does Ava!

Aunt Sarah and Nate came to visit for the weekend as well! It was fun to see them, and Nate got to finally meet Ava in person! They had a great time with her! On Saturday, we went to Tampa for the day and visited some friends of ours, Tim and Nicole. Their daughter, Addison, turned one year old, and she was having a birthday party. So, Ava went to her first party and had a great time being held my everyone and playing with Addison. We also got to watch the Georiga game while we were there! GO DAWGS!

Today, everyone left around 2:30, Patrick played in his first tennis match (he joined a league), and I'm studying for an exam I have tomorrow. :( But, I've only got to study like this a few more times....and it's not NEARLY as torturous as dental school exams were! So, anyway, that's the update...and I've got TONS of pictures to share...which I'll try to put up by sometime tomorrow. I hope you are all doing well! Keep checking back for pics!
