Snow Day!

So, everyone knows that we got quite a bit of snow last week! Ava was excited when it started coming down. I was amazed, though, at how FAST it began to melt the next day when the sun came out. So, we had to run out real quick and play before it was all gone!

I wanted to take her picture here, but she wouldn't stop talking long enough for her to smile...so I just had to snap it!
Here's Ava with Catcher. He's such a sweet boy. He lets her climb all over him! He was having fun too... fetching the tennis ball!
Look Mommy! I made a snow ball!! It was a little hard to make good snow balls since the snow had already melted so much...they usually ended up with some dirt in them.

Here she is exploring with Salsa. They're a cute pair. :) Ava really likes to eat the snow. Patrick had to teach her that you only eat white snow...not yellow snow. I guess that's good advise with dogs around. ;) Salsa giving Ava a little lick. :) Maybe she had snow on her face!When I came downstairs to get Patrick and Ava to go outside before the snow melted...this is what I saw. Ava makes Patrick lay in this tent thing (which he barely fits in) while she plays. Here, she requested a "bassage." (Which is a massage). She'll say, "Daddy, bassage me"
She'll lay here for a long time while he rubs her back. She loves it! Who wouldn't?!?
