We called the Ortho clinic early this morning and they agreed to see Baby Ava and take a look at her previously bleeding toe. When I arrived, they sent a cast-tech in to remove her tigger cast so the doctor could assess the wound. Ava had big eyes while he removed the cast, but he was very quick (less than 2 mins)! The doc removed the gauze and looked over the wound. She said that it looked great and looked exactly the way it did when they finished the first time. There is nothing else to do but put on a new cast! So, I decided to give her a pink cast this time. The cast-tech was so fast again; she got her new cast in under 5 minutes! She didn't like her leg held down, but other than that she was in no pain! Sorry about the crappy pic (from my phone). I'll get a better one up there later today. Thanks again for thinking about Ava!

Poor girl! Those cast saws are scary Ava, but you learned that you'll always be safe with mommy :)
