So, I decided long ago (and Patrick agreed) that we weren't putting up a Christmas tree or decorations because we're going to Atlanta for the week of Christmas. Also, things are just very busy and hectic with the residency, and it was one less thing to worry about. Well....we went to Starbucks early this afternoon (Patrick, Sarah, Ava, and I)....and on the way there, we drove past a Christmas tree farm. Patrick and Sarah thought it would be fun to "look around" on the way home. Well....guess what. We ended up getting a Christmas tree. I just haven't been in the Christmas mood, but we
did have a fun time getting a tree...so, I'm
trying to get in the Christmas spirit!
Here, the doggies are about as excited as I was to be getting all the decorations out. But I put on my Mannheim Steamroller Christmas music and felt much better!

It's the shortest tree we've ever had. It's also the very first real tree that we've had since Patrick and I got married. But, it's a nice little tree! It's all wrapped up, so it's not quite as skinny as it looks here.

Here's Patrick bringing the tree in in the frigid weather. Burrr! The projected high for Christmas Day in Gainesville is 75 degrees. Like I said...frigid.

Here's Ava hanging out with me while I figure out which lights still work from last year! Always has her hands in her mouth!

Patrick was so nice and even put up some lights outside!

So, here it is...all nice and pretty. Now, I feel like it's Christmas! A little blurry for the first one, but it's the only way I could get that "natural glow!"

This one has no "natural glow," but at least it's in focus!

Tomorrow, Ava has her 4 month check up appointment. I'll post her stats hopefully sometime tomorrow! Good night!
