It finally popped!!

Well, there's no denying it now...I'm definitely pregnant and definitely showing! All this tummy just kinda popped up in the last 2 weeks! It's about TIME is what I say!! 26 weeks!! 6 1/2 months!! I think people who don't know me may actually think that I'm pregnant instead of just a little chubby! The magic jeans are still hanging in there...although, Patrick accidentally washed them (in his defense, however, they were in the dirty laundry bin), so I think they may only be magical for the next week or so! :) I can't button them anymore, but I figured out a way to rig them...and it actually works pretty well. One of my girlfriends taught me this little trick...I can use a rubber band and loop it around the button, through the button hole, and back around the button. This way, it's a little stretchy and gives a lot more! Check out the picture at the bottom! Pretty creative, huh?! :) But, when I sit down, I basically have to unbutton and unzip the jeans...otherwise, Baby K is too squished! So, maybe they are losing a little magic.... sad....

So, everything is going relatively well. I am starting to get a little uncomfortable, though. Such a perfect pregnancy so far, I figured the aches and pains would come sometime! I've had a HORRIBLE time trying to sleep well lately. I have now taken over all of the pillows on the entire bed...including all of Patrick's. I am so tired of sleeping on my side, and my collar bone gets so squished from having to lay that way....all I want to do is sleep on my back. And sometimes I do for a few minutes, but then I start to feel guilty like I'm depriving my baby of air! That can't be good. So, I pile up all the pillows like a recliner and sleep that way. It's definitely the most comfortable way to sleep for me. My other complaint is a pain I have in my lower right abdomen. My doc said that it's most likely my ligament stretching (the one that's around the uterus). But, to me, if feels quite sharp and like it's a strained muscle. It only hurts when I move or use my right leg (which...you know...I kinda do a lot...walking and all). So, for the last 2 weeks, I've been pretty much uncomfortable when I move around. At first, I just figured I'd strained a muscle and that it would heal up...but it's been 2 weeks now...so, I'm thinking that's just how it is. Ugh. BUT, other than those things, everything is going well. OH! Except for my freaking allergies (or pregnancy stuffy nose)...it's killin me!! At night is, by far, the worst! So, I'm really loving my Benadryl lately. Don't worry...it's totally okay to take Benadryl while pregnant. I checked! So, that's about all. Stay tuned for more...
